Telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell, which is one of the greatest inventions of the betterment and comfort of mankind. We have a telephonic conversation almost every hour. Having telephonic conversations has become a part of our daily routine. Tring! Tring! Hello, who’s calling? Do you talk on the phone? Do you talk for long hours or short period of time? If I talk about myself, I talk a lot on the phone and usually, tell friends about the conversation I had. While talking to friends, people often are seen in search of new words and phrases. Maybe you too require it. If you want to tell someone about the conversation you had, or while talking on the phone the call got disconnected, or the person on the other side was not audible. If you are inclined to master in English communication skills,you really need to account that there are four phases you need to work on but at the same time.

  • Reading
  • Listening
  • Writing
  • Speaking


Number of learners focus on learning only one phase  that  is reading and they forget about other phases.Those are important too.Usually,the major goal is to speak fluently.This means you may be able to read English literature.But still face difficulties when it comes to expressing your thoughts in English,listening to an English native speaker,or even writing English content.

So it becomes important to practice all four elements together rather than deciding which one to begin with.They all function in symmetry to make you fluent English communicator.


How To Begin it?

Here is a Practical example:

Reading is a first phase to work on so that you can advance your communication skill.It is best to start with things you do on daily basis.You can start with your mobile phone with internet connection as it is prior nowadays.Start reading valuable things such as news, subject related topics, etc from internet.You can even listen to audios, videos of your interest from YouTube.This means you are done with your reading and listening.The real advantage to your learning will be when you write a summary report about what you have listened and read.Later,discuss it with a native English speaker.
